Lucius
Limericks
by
Lucius Appaloosius
A
foolish young slacker from Jirce
Imprudently argued with Circe;
One gesture from her
Left him covered in fur,
Before he could even cry, "Mirce!"
An
Alderman dared to declare,
"I'll shut down this 'Funhouse', I swear!"
Circe soon turned the tables:
She showed him the Stables.
(Now the Alderman's running for mare.)
An
unemployed, heavy-set lunk
Thought that Circe was nothing but bunk;
But Helios' daughter
Said, "He'll do for a porter,".....
So she sent him off, packing a trunk.
